Each pair uploads: 1. Videoproduction – 2. Audioproduction – 3. A word document with introduction text to your productions, and your written account outlining the main findings of your research and how these lead to the decisions on which stories to tell in your video/audio productions.

OBS: In the original assignment I also asked for a brief draft on how the productions should fit into a multimedia-site. You can leave that part out, as we have had to little focus on it during our working process.

Some of you have commented that the feed back on the manuscript is given late as many of you will be filming this week. When meeting for the councelling sessions, do not necessarily regard the session as feed back on the manuscript. You can ask for advice on any part of your process. Prepare a short introduction on how your work is proceeding and consider which issues would be the most relevant to discuss for you.

The manuscripts are regarded as a tool for you in the working process and a reference for me and the opponents.  So do also prepare yourself for the sessions by reading the manuscripts of your opponents. /mette

As you maybe remember I will be away for the coming five days – going to Germany – I will be back on tuesday next week, where I hopefully will find all your manusscripts uploaded on DGH 3. Henriette is making a folder for them.

I will see you all for councelling sessions on Wednesday and Thursday next week. Notice, that we start early on Thursday. At 8’00. And remember the lesson with Svenne on subtitling for the whole class the same afternoon. Schedule for the sessions is under logistics. Group 1 and 2, which only consist of two pairs each, will have the session together – so that there are more listeners to every project. Each pair should prepare a short presentation of how your project is proceeding and the decisions you have made in your manuscripts. However, I have managed to forget that on September 16th from 9-12  there will be a special masterclass for the entire TVM with an extraordinary Danish television Hot Shot. Therefore, I have had to reschedule the pitching sessions so that 6 opponent groups will be pitching on September 15th and the remaining 2 groups on September 16th. Consequently, thursday September 15th will be a very long day, where the first group starts at 8!!! and the last one finishes at 16’30. On /Logistics you will find a time table for the sessions.

Each pair will have 30 minutes at the session -  5 minutes to pitch your research findings and ideas for your production, and  25 minutes for advice from opponents and me. The pitching sessions are obligatory. Apart from the session I recommend that you spent additional time in the opponent group giving each other further advice. /mette
